Available with a range of customization options, these durable HID ProxCard II Clamshell cards are made from thick PVC. Used in access control systems in office buildings, large company campuses, schools and universities, and transportation, clamshell prox cards are programmed for 125 kHz proximity systems.

When ordering your HID clamshell cards, you will need three key pieces of information:

• Your card format – this is most commonly HID Compatible 26 bit (H10301)
• Your facility code – this will be on the box your current cards came in, and is a number between 0 and 255
• Your sequence start number – every prox card has a unique sequence number (numbers are between 0 and 65,435) and numbers cannot be repeated, your new card order should start on the next number in the sequence. This will also be on your box.

Keep in mind when ordering HID clamshell prox cards:

• Minimum order quantity: 100 cards
• Average lead time: 2-3 weeks

Please note that any customization you do to the cards may impact the order processing time. For a faster turnaround time, consider ordering AlphaPass prox cards instead.

The easiest way to find your card format and facility code is to look at the box your last order came in – the card information will be printed on a label on the box. It may also be included in your order invoice. If you have access to your access control system, you may also be able to look it there.
